  • Sailing, takes me away to….

    The next line of Christopher Cross’s song is often misunderstood and many times misquoted (unless of course you google it…..which is cheating.) Many times people think he’s saying “to where i want you to be” or “where I always heard it could.” Regardless of what the lyrics may be, we at Pappas are a sailing bunch.

    It’s not uncommon for the pappasitas to spend a summer outing sailing around Annapolis with our trusty skipper Phil Reed. If we’re well behaved he may even allow us to steer the trusty vessel that was featured in the movie Wedding Crashers. The night prior to this years journey I stayed up late and made a sweet Yacht Rawk soundtrack for the day. But alas, the indie kids shunned it and demanded we listen to NPR, the raver kids demanded we watch a movie and our athletic ladies just wanted to hear some Brit Brit. Read more

    It’s nothing we haven’t heard before, commuting to work around DC stinks. No matter the mode, be it car, bike or Airforce 1 (the shoe of course), it’s expensive, nerve racking and time consuming.
